DJ’s and Blogging


Once again I am sharing my opinions. I read a lot of DJ blogs and posts and notice the same things all the time DJ’s begging for business.

If you want people to follow your blogs post useful information. I would stay away from saying you are an expert on any topic. You can post company info on your posts but begging for business is not going to get your message out there.

Put some thought behind your posts and post them on a routine basis you want your viewers to get to know you and to follow your postings. You want to provide potential customers with great material to read. You do not want to seem desperate for work even if you are.

My advice

Post one blog topic at the very least
Do not talk badly about other DJ’s in the field or your area. “ To some people it makes you sound jealous of them and you promote their name”
Do not ever claim to be the expert on the subject our claim to be better then anyone else
Take any blog feedback has positive even if someone states that you are wrong (Remember you never claimed to be the expert)
Check your spelling
Make sure your blog is easy to follow and understand, do not use a lot of technical references with out clearly defining the reference.
Try to keep your message throughout the posting.
If you do not want everyone to see it do not post it.

The most important rule have fun with your postings.
