I see this posted on DJ blogs and websites every day. What would it take to be the best DJ, well in my humble opinion it would take a lot, the knowledge and skill required to be the best DJ in your area means you would need to pretty much fully understand and recognize every type of music you would need to be able to read a crowd like a psychic, and in the mobile DJ world you would have to be the greatest mc around.

I know by far I am not the greatest DJ around however I also know I go that extra mile for my customers and I provide the services I promise while still being affordable.

Again in my opinion to be the greatest DJ around or in your town you have to be able to do it all fog, lights and deafening sound do not make you the best DJ only one that is equipped to dazzle you with a fog and light show.

To be the best you would have to be the master of scratching remixes and cuts, a turn tabelist, an awesome MC the true master of ceremonies, you would need to have to have a knack for reading every person in every crowd and playing something that makes everyone happy. Not to mention you would need a music arsenal. You customer service skills would need to be phenomenal. Personally I have never met such a DJ who can do it all and keep an entire room happy while playing tracks that everyone in the room really wanted to hear. I have heard some great DJ’s but I have yet to come across the best.

Right now I can feel people saying DJ so and so is the best or I am the best DJ O.C.P you do not know what you are talking about. And again my opinion is a great scratch or mix DJ would be hard pressed in a country music club to entertain everyone all night long with out some cowboy saying what the, and the same goes for a Country music DJ playing a real Hip Hop venue do you really think the Hip Hop crowd would like to hear Achy Breaky Heart, or Garth Brooks, Waylon and Willie.

I am a mobile DJ, I have a nice little set up that gets the job done, I have lights, Alot of music, Great sound equipment and I have a background in pr communications.

I have a background in many different genre’s of music. I love to listen to every different type of music and I would never refer to myself has the greatest or the best. I am good at what I do and have fun while I play because I like music, and what it does to people when they hear that song that means something to them.
